Sometimes we need a powerful reminder just how fantastic the human spirit is, how resilient we are as a species. I had another post in mind for today that actually also speaks to the resilience of the human heart and spiritThe video below is the most perfect segue into that post ( look for it early in the week )
I ran smack into this gentleman & his story thanks to social media, and if you have not seen it yet I promise you will be moved to tears. Feel good kind of tears. The powerful reminder received from this man’s story is a perfect example of how getting outside our own head, our own ‘issues’ and being allowed to be touched by others is healing to our own spirit.Thank you Arthur for your share ~
That totally blew me away.
Me too. I cried the entire first time watching it.
BB, this is being written through tears. His struggle, his sticking to it no matter what… I know so many people so damaged by war, or damaged by families, or damaged by life, they do give up. This guy proves that if you keep hanging in, keeping the faith, anything can happen… and it’s all good. Thank you, thank you. Peace, Amy
It is quite possibly the most inspiring video I have ever seen, People become broken for so many reasons, I was one too. I think if we give up on ourselves we give up on theirs and life. Trickle down effect if you will.
You are so very welcome~
W—O—W !
Believing and positive thinking are enablers. Awesome video. Thanks for sharing.
So delighted his story spoke to you. You are right, and I so like the way you expressed it. Thanks Tess for your feedback. It means a lot to ME. ~
Lovely video. He accomplished the goal I only just started working on, so this made me hopeful. Thanks, Bliss!
Thank you Jude. I know it is such a struggle sometimes when it feels like we are not seeing the exact progress we dreamed of for our selves. I think one of the things Arthur in the video has going on for himself is is able to self-forgive and practice sell-compassion. It is one enabled him to just keep getting back up instead of lying on the floor and saying, ” am not good enough, I can’t do this. ”
I think sometimes we self-sabotage for what ever reason. it seems to play some old tape that runs through our minds. At least that is my perception and analogy.
I agree completely. I am learning those strategies now. Thanks for the post — wonderful!
am convinced we are students at life, Always
By the way.. was under the same stars
