Award Sparks Gladness

Our brightest blazes of gladness are commonly kindled by unexpected sparks.”      Samuel Johnson,

An unexpected spark of surprises through friendship gladdens my heart with this R.E.A.L.I.T.Y. award from my good friend, & blog partner Gerry. Gerry’s own primary blog Gerry’s Space (Cobbies69) is one of the first I followed and if you don’t know it you are very much missing out on a great blog  Gerry writes and shares his original works and photographs, He is always interesting, and quite often funny. I find his Gerry’s Space both a breath of fresh air and authentic.

To Gerry; with my sincere & heartfelt thanks to you for this acknowledgement My Kindest Sir. Let me also express my gratitude for your friendship, and your partnership with BTH & CRA.
Visit Gerry;s blog today to see what you have been missing.

The requisite rules and my responses below:

There are a few questions we are asked to answer by way of sharing a little more of who we are.

1. If you could change something what would you change?

I have though about this  long and hard as if this was being my last wish granted by the genie, My answer would be many things but I will say now that it would be how I made a living. Not there was anything wrong with what I did, just didn’t feed my spirit.

2. If you could relive one day, when would it be?

Answer-A Day In June.

3. What’s one thing that really scares you?

Answer  Not having a sense of control over my own life,

4. What one dream have you not completed yet and do you think you will be able to complete it?

Answer . There are a few dreams I am chasing and hope to always have a few that keep me looking up to the stars for encouragement.  One of those dreams is to find myself coming full circled musically, finally.

5. If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be?

Answer-This may come across as a bit altruistic but my sincerity is genuine To spend a day as  (or even with ) Marian Wright Edelman would give me insights that I could use today. Miss Edelman is a lawyer, social activist, and premier children’s rights advocate in the United States.  I want to be just like her when I grow up.

  1. Hello, my bloggy sis,

I realized this morning that I have been absent from your posts and everyone else’s since I started the NaNoWriMo writing. I promise I will be back, come December 1, or sooner if I keep going at my current rate. Congratulations on the blog award — you deserve it! Love you!

  2. love your answer day in june especially. all are brill and thank you my lady for the wonderful words of praise, it also my honor to be you friend and blogging partner. Nothing will stop us.’)

  3. So proud to be associated with you, and congratulate you on a blog, well done! Now, you receive an award of which you richly deserve.

I am truly honored, My Dear Lady Baroness, that you feel that way about me, and my blog, and only too happy to accept.

Thank you, for contributing to my morning smile 🙂

    Cordially, As ever……

    • Like wise Dave and thank you for your thoughtful words on my fine blog. I tried to work in a pun (yours so good!) but sadly both you & your dad have trumped me in this department. Puns are fabulous & fun, but they have to come spontaneously or they just don’t work seem to have the same punch. .

This was an easy award to give Dave. Your Groovy Gazette is all of what I have said and more. I keep going back for more.
Please keep “spinning” and sharing your thoughts on all subjects, you always have a different and universally in spirit moving point.

Those looking for that positive spin look to you and your blog always to get their dose of good and positive energy.

Be well, Be Expressed my friend.!

    • My treasured Maxi,
So good for my heart each new post I see from you. I hope you are recovering and healing well.
Thank you so very much for your thoughts on my award. You know what they mean.
Many Blessing to you and Bear. from myself and Sir Olivier, we are sending healing hugs your way. .

  4. Dearest Tj–it is killing me to tell you that I had to stop accepting blog awards at the first of this year. There were so many generous people like yourself–and I always made a seriously big deal of the awards, with my acceptance speeches and banquets. It was way fun, of course, but took huge amounts of time that I just don’t have anymore. Since then, there have been a few including yours, that I so regretted having to pass up–but I’m afraid if I pick and choose (not accept them all), it will show truly bad manners–and you know Caddo views manners right up there with cleanliness and Godliness! So, Sis–you honor me, and I’m SO touched, but I don’t see how I can get around saying “no thank you”. Bless your dear heart, always–and don’t you ever give up on them dreams, hear?!! Love, sis Caddo

    • My Dearest aunty Commando~
Please my do not fret your heart over this one more second in regards to this sentiment on my part That is all I intended it to be for anyone. I have zero exceptions when I do this. It is for me the gesture that you know what & how I feel about you. This is why I said how you accept and in your fashion is totally your own style. You just wrote a beautiful (non) acceptance speech which I will hold dearly. I completely understand where you are coming from and may have to take some time for deep reflection about this very topic myself.

This is a personal choice caddo and there is nothing about how anyone I care about and what they choose to do that is going to affect me in any way. Simply knowing by way of me saying “I think this much of you… ” is enough for me. Giving awards are about the person receiving..Not about the person doing the giving. This includes if and how they choose to accept. It is not be about me, its about what makes you feel okay, and comfortable that is important to me.
      Thank you for say so~

Sending Oregon love to you up north Commando with my hugs attached ~

    • Thank you from myself and BTH’s other partner Gerry for your thoughtful and kind words. I l know when I say it is a long held passion to advocate for children I am not speaking just for myself.

Enjoy your award Tersia you in my mind deserve this and so much more.
May gentle hugs come your way today and everyday when you most need them.~

You are most welcome to share your thoughts, comments, and/or complaints here. Know though complaints are only handled on the 2nd Tuesday of the week.~ The Management
