My final project I made for my video productions class “Cutaway Productions” (Search them for their channel) at my high school. I don’t own the rights to the song or the pictures and I am not trying to claim them, I just did this video for fun and I spent many an hour on it.
Enjoy!
Song: Mind Heist (yes it is from Inception)

ANY QUESTIONS?
He could have left off the evolutionary part for me, but it was really good. Thanks for sharing 🙂 Angie
I have been surprised no one had said that until you now. I liked that it touched on all aspects and all sensibilities.of history and the debates.
Thanks so much Angie for stopping by and commenting. I love to see your thoughts shared always ~
That is ohhh so very powerful!!!
Hello Cee,I love that you saw this I was going to let you know cause would think it pretty special
I am always so pleased to see you my friend~
Amazing ambitious piece of working art! Congrats.
Thank you Les!! Its pretty thoughtful I think. Its what we have done to our earth and its people. My hope is this generation gets it.
This is great!
So wish I could take credit. Alas not!
But I can and will accept your comment Jules with a BIG smile.. Curious if you share with Ming what he thinks about it. I want to inspire a whole new generation to recreate, and or pick up the movement of saving our Mother Earth. Those who will not just talk the talk, but will walk it, keep the torch lit, and pass it on again.
I think Ming’s generation (& my granddaughter Kourt, 19 ) have the committed passion.
The trust to be in their hands has to start some where…let it start with you & I.
That is a great idea to show Ming – I will!
Oh Jules how awesome of you! Would you mind sharing with me either here, or privately what he thought?
I have a conversation going on with my two nieces who are in their mid to late 20’s. They think its too late, and I think they have given in, and up. Told them so. They told me I am an eccentric. Ha!
So what else is new? Good thing we are close eh?
However my little “mini – mini me “(Kourt) thinks in a more positive sense.
Now I’d like to know a young males perspective too, I know Ming has some vested interest in Dairy farming for instance, and its this perspective and also because you & Ants I am interested in knowing what his feelings are..
I am thinking there is an essay in me concerning this topic.
Look what you got yourself into with me LOL.. 🙂
Should I apologize now or after you have spoken to Your Ming?
Thank you my friend~
It will do him good to show him – I am having a lot of trouble with his anger. We are going out in a bit so I will show him this evening BB!
Excellent my dearest Jules. I am on your side, mom to mom.
If you really want to dangle something over his head, use a bargaining tool – let it be assigning him to email with written response to the video Tell him buck up or a written assignment. His choice- Kids love choices.
.. Thinking out loud just like the smart *** I can so be. ~
In all seriousness it might help having a neutral topic to discuss that is not about anything personal, Maybe? A common ground again.?
I wish there was something I (we) could do to hep smooth the ruffled feathers (could not help myself) in your life, you get pulled every which way, but a good way.
Just needing you to know I really do care Jules, not all blog talk ~
And Hugs ~
Good thinking 99 (oh dear I am giving you too many nicknames ha!)
You are delightful!
I would have liked the time scale to be accurate – to give a sense of history and perspective. But it was interesting.
I see your point. Two minutes was a short time to receive so much of history and all the images.Does make me wonder if the students realize the point too. That’s my only wish that the history they stuffed into those two minutes is not just a flash in their hearts.I do hope that they get it.
I rather think its brilliant.
So awesome to see you visit and taking the time to comment, thank you my Bumba friend ~BB
I mean condensing thirteen billion years to two minutes proportionately. Or, for earth, five billion years down to two minutes. Mammals and humans would appear in the last few seconds or so.
I have a sense that this was part of the assignment, the challenge if you will, to squeeze in 2 minutes what they could, I am on board with your thoughts and feelings concerning evolution though.
I am actually quite smitten with seeing public taught children allowed to include evolution and recreation theories in one two minute video essay. Granted I am “old chic” (not really) and
having attended school in the 50;s & 60’s and finishing in the early 70’s – this would have created a school board disaster in my day at the very least, if not state wide.
So You see I do see this as proof positive that some things are changing for the better. This is me.. seeing the glass
half full about 98% of the time. ~
Love your discussions by the way.. just saying.
quite a thought provoking piece of work.. and wouldn’t it be nice to see the young to carry on the good work… my lady 😉
Its a hard deep thinking piece to be sure. I thought of your Last Shining Dawn2 when I first saw it. 😉
My hope is as yours is. The kids will take the torch.and keep it lit while passing it on.
Thank you My Kindest Sir for stopping by.. You are always so welcome. ~
Oh I am so excited to be the first to comment on this…. this is awesome…. it gave me chills. How powerful. I am not surprised these young ladies are related to you!
I have watched this 5 x’s now and cannot get enough. Its chilling, its frightening, its provocative. My hope is that these kids DO get it!
We( post 40yr old’s) tried to change a whole world in just our generation. A wonderful ideal, just not feasible. Hoping that these kids can finish what we started, is a dream I have.
That would be my Faith in Human Nature showing..
