Share Your World Week # 37

One of the things I most look forward to is Cee’s weekly challenge Share Your World, http://ceeslifephotographyblog.wordpress.com/2012/09/03/share-your-world-week-37/

Cee would love to have you all jump on board. Starting any where is a perfectly acceptable. Don’t let that stop you. Go on.. give it a try. If you find it’s not your thing what have you lost?

Exactly!

Cee’s Share Your World question’s this week.

  • 1. Do you believe in the afterlife?  Reincarnation?

Really? In how many pages I should have to share?  Yes. I believe in all things possible.

  • 2. For your computer Mac or Windows-based computer?  Desktop, laptop or other?

Windows, Laptop Gave my desk top to kids last year and have not regretted it,I’ve never even used a MAC operating system..hmm…maybe I am missing something?…….Nah!

  • 3 If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?

My grandchildren’s births again.Historic for me.

  • 4. What are you reading fiction or non-fiction or studying and would you recommend it?

Both.

Patricia Cornwell:  “Black Notice Richmond VA Chief Medical Officer’s nightmares begin when a cargo shop arrives at  the shipyard’s water terminal from Belgium – holding a deceased stowaway.   Always a good read.

Sarah’s Key: Like Sophia’s Choice , it’s a story so far that is touches both the heart and to the soul. by Tatiana de Rosnay

Writing Life Stories by Bill Roorbach – pretty self-explanatory. The first writing exercise Bill has you attempt is writing about the first home you lived in as a chid,   & your neighborhood. He suggests you start with a sketch. I was blown over, time and time again ss I drew. Memories would flood over me. By the time I moved to the narration I had so much material I then had to sort. pretty cool.

Thanks Cee! It’s always a party! ~no one should listen to Cream do “I Feel Free” At 2:30 in the morning unless it’s a party Right?

Thanks Friend!

  1. Oh BB, I’m chuckling about you “muzzling” your thoughts/answers! Is that what I need, a muzzle? I’ve tried duct tape–but it hurts when you pull it off your mouth! God bless you abundantly–love, sis Caddo

    • O NO! Do Not muzzle for my sister, I’d havr to find bolt cutters and free you…;-)
In all honesty I was wanting to say so much more, but I got cauught up in what I was feeling and opted too take the muse from it all and use it for my novel. I know not likw me to show some restraint.,, so I did not hold back I just ised it else where. What a novel idea…lol…

  2. Great answers! The big difference with Mac was, at the beginning, icons and point and click. Now that PCs have those capabilities, the differences are much less. I think Mac is quirkier and more fun — but I learned word processing through Word Perfect, etc.

    • I know me too Tess!! And what is worse I said I’d never have a kindle?? Who knew there is an app for your computer. FREE! So I am now reading without touching a book. I said I’d never do this. BUT I hate waiting for books. I am such instant gratification person wiith some things. I suppose that is why I read cereal boxes at the table. 🙂

I am waiting for a proper suggestion for title. Have the author’s name. Power of Suggestion. Magic!

Thanks Tess I always enjoy comments with you ~ BB

    • I will accept your suggestion , i ahve not read any T Gerritsen. saw her books at Amazon, do you have one you would suggest? I was just needing a new one for the kindle app on my laptop.

      Learn more? .. I am a closet country-girl,. sshh,,

  3. It’s so interesting to read everyone’s answers to these questions – a bit of insight into what that person is. I read and liked Sarah’s Key, then saw the movie with friends which was also very good. It was a story that brought the horrors of what man can do to man front and center, but also the kindnesses that man can bestow on man.

    • Isn’t this fun Carol? It is why i do it, so I can learn more about you and other SYW mates.
Imagine that? We have books in common. Now I am not surprised in the least bit. Delighted, but not surprised.
I am really like Sarah’s Key. Was not sure at forst n but I have a rule, if I start it finish it whhich has led me to some real dogs before. But this book once it grabbed me it has not let go.

Which do you think the book or movie was better?

  4. Hi BB. I’m not one for questions, although I’m emphatic about my belief in God and the Afterlife.

Sorry I’m not showing up much lately, have been sooo sick. Caught a bug, I guess.

Blessings to you, my friend ~ Maxi

    • O Maxi so happy to hear from you, and yet bummed my friend that you are not well.
I have missed you, and am grateful to hear from you.

To your loving comment, can I say this? It is partlybecause people ;ike you & David too that i believe. I know Maxi what you know. I believe that you two will be reunited. A love so pure. I hope you don’t mind me saying so.

Much love and gentle hugs to you my dear friend..wish it could ba bowl of chicken soup..~ BB
