I’ve Been Tagged.. This Time I’ll Play~

I’ve been tagged by Claudia from her blog:  Pathfiner: MotherWifeStudentWorker. Thanks so much Claudia for thinking of including me! These are the rules :

Each person must post 11 things about him/herself on their blog.

1. Answer the questions the “tagger” listed for you in their post, (And create 11 new questions for the people you tag to answer if you can).

2. Choose 11 people to tag and link to them in the post.

3. Let each blogger know that you have tagged them.

Okay, my  11 difficult to come up with things about myself:

  1. I don’t like to have to come up with a list of 11 or even 1 thing about myself. ~ Is this cheating? Okay, just wanted to know.

  2. I have two daughter’s, and 3 step children, two bio grand babies who are now 12 & 19, and 6 more because of my husband’s 1st marriage, we have an orange Tabby named Truman who has a natural crook in the end of his tail. (I told you I hate coming up with things about me)

  3. I love classic folk &  rock n roll, but listen to most music.

  4. Fell in love with Downton Abbey on PBS this last year and am beside myself waiting for the new season. Anyone know anything?

  5. Most of the artwork in our home is by artists that we know and love. Or their relatives. With the exception of my husband’s sofa size lithio of Starry Night, an anniversary present from yours truly.

  6. My full-time job of the last year has been Physical and Occupational Therapy so that I may continue to thrive.

  7. Along that line; I’m not a fan the warm temps of summer. I have a central nervous malfunction that does not allow me to cool my body off like normal, I’d much rather be cold and have to get warmed up.

  8. Only 8 so far? Cn you tell I am grasping?

  9. One of my most cherished past times is coloring with my grandchildren.

  10. I drive, when I drive a 1997 Saturn. She is the best car, our 3rd. I’m completely bummed they are no longer in business. Hence why we are still driving a 15-year-old car. The Saturn’s saved my life literally in a roll over. I landed on the tires, roof caved in to where there was a V in the windshield, but I walked away.

  11. Oh Thankfully!! LOL… Okay.. make this one a good one….How about… I’ve never worn make-up? Okay… kind of cheesy..I agree. But hey, I warned you.

Now for Claudia’s questions:

1 Without three things you would be lost?

(a)  my family for sure

(b)  my Bible and other spiritual devotional reading

( C ) My friends and extended family My motto goes something like this.
“Faith Family Friend’s.”

2 If you could be famous for one thing, what would it be?

Save every child from their abusers! I hope that would be worth fame~

3 If you only could listen to one song for the next month, what song would that be?

Josh Groban’s “You Raise Me Up”

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;

You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;

I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;

You raise me up… To more than I can be……..

awww,,, I think this says so much…….

4.  Why started you blogging in the first place?

Because I am a writer in the first place~

5 If you could have your own tv channel, what would it be about?

Chronic Pain and Fatigue with a guest patient each show~because they are the experts.

6 What is your favorite season? And why? 7 Do you like flowers better or trees?

Definitely Autumn. I love flowers but have a special affinity with Leaves and bare branches on trees, and obviously trees.

8 If you could own a famous painting (or any other art object), which one would that be?

I would be a basket woven from pine needles, with a pine cone handle for the lid. Such an incredible art that I’m loath to say we are losing practitioners of.

9 There is only one person like yourself. Name something about you that makes you unique!

My hair that rests below my bum. I’m 57, have been able to donate 3 one- foot braids to Locks of Love.  As long as I can grow it and kids need it I’m there~

10 Do you plan out things usually or do you do them more spontaneous?

Both. But I am a true believer and lover of all things serendipitous.

11 Would you rather be a movie actor or a (rock)star on the stage?

Rock Star in stage all day and all night long. I have actually sang for a rock band in my heyday. And have produced an album. My little brothers band’s music, all originals.

Thanks Claudia!

Well that was not painful at all. I hope that if your name has been called you will play along. And if your name was not called by me it’s only this time. So little space, so many outstanding bloggers kind of thing, so even if your name is not here please join in and play along with us.

All our welcome in my world!

  4. Great answers! Wow, no makeup. You are brave. I don’t like make up and dressing up, but I have to do both for work and school. And even then I use as little as possible. 🙂

    • Thanks so much Claudia. I’d not probably call me brave, just committed. My mom had great skin and she always said, just warm water, mild astringent, and moisturizer. The most I’ve worn is mascara. Just never my thing. I was not really girly girl anyway growing up with brothers and male cousins only. I was am the only girl.

  5. Hmmm, we have a few things in common (besides the writing thing). I lost my best friend to breast cancer 2 years ago, so locks of love is one of my favorite charities. I’m so glad you donate! I love 1, 2, and 3 as well 🙂 Angie

    • I’m so sorry that your beloved friend lost her battle. It’s not enough to do for our sisters in that fight. I was lucky in that a lumpectomy was all that was needed in my case and it was found so early (thanks to my husband) and too have lost loved ones. Family members.

I’ve always sad as long as I am able to produce it I will send it where it needed. My mom said when I was a child I had enough hair for 6 more heads because it was so thinck, If only she knew today.

  6. Hello–I am beyond thrilled that you mentioned the Josh Groban song!! I love that too–gives me goosebumps!! God bless you today, and always.

  8. I will give it a go, this is the third time I have been tagged, (People must want know more about me,,,heehee!) I have post where I did two together. All I ask my dearest Lady Baroness is please give me a little time. I need to think of more original info. …I dont know if thank you is right thing to say,,,heehee, watch my Space!!! 😉

    • WE certainly do wnat to know more about you Sir! (giggling) I think I said this was like my 5th time, I resisted all times before. It’s true it”s time consuming but once done kind of a cathartic sense it leaves behind.

I’m thinking Thank you is probably not what any of us really feel. I know it was bittersweet for me. LOL…but fun in the end. I’m glad I followed through this time (Thank you Claudia and the 4 other’s who have been so patient) Please take all the time Gerry, we will wait with much anticipation though… just so you know~
And by the way.. I just know there is a fountain of original info you can share.

  9. I could listen to that Josh Groban song too. I just love it. I love that your hair is so long and healthy. I’ve never grown my quite long enough for Locks of Love. I might just have to play along this time…

    • It’s be a fun thing to do. I’ll wait, get mine healthy and when yours is long enough we will make a date to do it. Than D & C can take us out for lunch afterwards. That’s be a blast! I’d love to get it cut where I grew up, in Clackamas. I need time (STILL) to choose a style.

Hair cuts, lattes and groban and our loves… who would have more fun than us?

    • It’s my most favorite time to talk with them. They seem so unguarded and just are so them selves. I even do this with my CASA clients, they all look forward to it just as much as I do. Our 19 year old granddaughter KC wants in pj’s a crisp coloring book, and sharp ointed crayons. Crayola crayons unless she’s using colored pencils. They each have their places.

    • Omgosh Jules I’d never! I would know better. Even as much as I’d say maybe want to Award you some award, I would only do that with a caveat that there is no requirements.
It took 5 times of me being tagged before I opted to play. It’s awfully time consuming which is why I know better for you.

      Are you feeling any better?

        • Oh Jules honey, I did not take any offense at all. Ever. I just know that you have enough obligatiions on your plate that I’d want to be the last one to add more. I’m so happy to hear you are feeling better. Not fun!

  10. I enjoyed reading your answers, and I especially identify with the chronic pain and fatigue patient as guests on your TV show point. Yes, we ARE the experts aren’t we?! The doctors only know what they know from books and from what people can express to them, but us the patient know exactly how it feels and how we deal with it day to day, EVERY day.

    • Every Day is right on. Sometimes every minute, every second, 24/7. It’s just so true. Somehow though we are not often even considered as viable information sources. It kind of frustrates me in the advocating world.

  11. Enjoyed this post! I’m smiling the whole time – from start to finish! I love ‘Raise Me Up’ song too.. Btw, thanks for including me 🙂 Have a great day!
