In honor of the frogs and crickets I hear outside my windows tonight because it’s actually warm enough to have them open this poem and photo is posted. I wish I could say I was the pilot of the kites, the photographer who shot the cool photo, the poetess who saw the possibilities in dreams & kites. But alas I’ll have to settle with being just the blogger who does the posting about all three.
Happy Spring Friends!

Throw your
dreams into space
like a kite,
and you do not know what it
will bring back,
a new life,
a new friend,
a new love,
a new country

Lovely poem! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Isn’t she great. I read all her work (shamefully some of it made me blush) in the 70’s as a young woman. She has had a place on book shelves since then.
Thank you, milady, for showing this to us. 😎
Thanks Judith I think its such a lovely time of the year! Just wanted to celebrate it quietly.
My favorite time of the year — and particularly lovely this year!
