A Word From Publisher’s Clearing House!

I found this wonderful comment today in response to the post I did several days ago about the scammer alert regarding fraud using the name and logo of PUBLISHER’S CLEARING HOUSE. A kind response from a member of PCH below.

Hi! My name is Danielle Lam and I am one of the Publishers Clearing House Prize Patrol Elite members – the team that travels the country and surprise s lucky PCH winners. Sadly, as you saw there are scammers out there who fraudulently use the PCH name to try and scam innocent people out of money. You NEVER need to pay to claim a prize from Publishers Clearing House and the ONLY way you will know if you won a large amount of money is by the Prize Patrol showing up at your door – and we NEVER contact you in advance, it’s a COMPLETE surprise!!

    • You are so very welcome Maxi. It’s frustrating that they can create such a credible front, and have people convinced. I would love to be an investigative reporter in another life along the lines of crimminal activity reporting,

    • Thanks Tess, it boggles my mind that people could actually be so hard core by abusing the poverty stricken; and elderly who live on fixed incomes.Which is causing many to have to decide between medicne and food drove me to this.. It’s always the vulnerable who are taken advantage of and I cannot tolerate it.
